Client reviews · Las Vegas
What it feels like to be seen.
I've never met anyone who knew how to pose. That's my half of the job.
Every session starts the same way: someone who is a little unsure in front of a camera, and an hour or two of direction that feels more like a conversation than a photo shoot. What people remember afterwards is the part I care most about, and it is what they wrote about here. Five reviews so far, first names only, each published with the client's permission.

I can't recommend Hugo Rivas enough! He is an incredibly talented photographer and truly has an eye for capturing you at your absolute best. I've worked with Hugo for both my professional modeling headshots and my pageant photography, and every single time he delivers beautiful, high-quality images. Beyond his talent behind the camera, Hugo makes you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself during the shoot. Professional, creative, reliable, and genuinely amazing at what he does.

From start to finish, he cared about my comfort, the quality of the final product, and bringing the vision to life. The entire experience felt considered.

What they have in common
Different sessions. The same word: comfortable.
Headshots, pageant work, brand portraits, editorial beauty. Five different briefs, and the word that appears in almost every review is the same one. That is not an accident. Direction is most of what I do; the photograph is simply what is left once someone stops performing for the camera and starts being themselves in front of it.
If you want to know what a session actually involves before you book, each one is written up in full:
